Shoot Kit
This week I’ve been prepping for our next big shoot in a couple weeks and building a small kit of must-haves while on set. I purchased the Sidekick ArtBin because of all the great little compartments. Let me walk you through it:
Compartment ONE
- Wire Flush Cutters (I love these especially for cutting zip ties so that they’re flush and don’t scratch someone)
- LOTS of Pens (I love these Paper Mate Ink Joy)
Compartment TWO
- Benadryl (For any allergic reactions. Also, liquid gets into your system faster than pill form.)
- Double-sided Tape for Clothing (Safe to stick to skin and clothes)
Compartment THREE
- Ziploc Bags (assortment)
- Bug Spray / Sunscreen (even though we shoot indoors, it’s nice to have for load in/out)
Not pictured: I always have my flashlight, notepad, and multitool on my backpack with me. I can’t mention enough to make sure you have a First Aid Kit on-set. You don’t want to run into an emergency and be without one.
What else would you add to the kit? Comment below and let me know!
